Bankruptcy forces the closure of 19 MEX gas stations in the Pilot network

Pilot has confirmed the temporary closure of many of its network of gas stations due to the bankruptcy of fuel retailer Mountain Express Oil Co (MEX).

Pilot recently notified its customers that 19 MEX gas stations in the Pilot network will be temporarily closed due to the company filing for bankruptcy.

Mountain Express Oil Co. (MEX) and its affiliates are ceasing to operate as part of the Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation. As a result, 19 MEX dealer locations in our network are temporarily closed. Pilot will continue to serve our valued customers at more than 800 locations across North America,” a Pilot spokesperson said.

⦁ LaPlace, Louisiana

⦁ Saint Rose, Louisiana

⦁ Pine Grove, Pennsylvania

It is not yet known when closed stores will reopen.
